Acting as a Finance Business Partner for the different North Sails Apparel functions, the role helps provide financial and business insights, analyze key performance trends and support operational and strategic decision-making, with the objective of driving sustainable growth and improving profitability. /pp Job Description /pp We are seeking a motivated, curious and analytical Business Controller to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Controlling Manager and partner with the different North Sails Apparel functions to support budgeting, forecasting, business analysis and performance reporting activities. /pp Acting as a Finance Business Partner, the role will support managers in understanding business and financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and defining actions to improve profitability and support informed business decisions. /pp Key Responsibilities /pulli Act as the Finance Business Partner for assigned business functions, providing financial guidance and supporting strategic and operational decision-making. /lili Partner with department leaders to monitor budgets, evaluate investments and identify opportunities to improve financial performance. /lili Support the annual budget, periodic forecasts and long-range planning processes. /lili Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, highlighting key business trends, risks and opportunities. /lili Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions. /lili Develop ad hoc analyses, financial models and business cases to support business initiatives and operational decisions. /lili Monitor key business and financial KPIs, proactively identifying risks and opportunities. /lili Support month-end and year-end closing activities from a controlling perspective, working closely with the Accounting team.



/lili Contribute to the reconciliation and validation of financial and accounting data used in management reporting. /lili Prepare presentations and performance reviews for management. /lili Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting tools, dashboards and controlling processes. /lili Ensure the quality, consistency and integrity of financial data. /lili Support the implementation and optimization of ERP and Business Intelligence reporting tools. /li /ulp Key Competencies /pulli Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. /lili Curiosity and willingness to understand business dynamics. /lili Good communication and stakeholder management skills. /lili Ability to translate data into meaningful business insights and contribute to business decisions through accurate and data-driven analysis. /lili Good knowledge of accounting topics and ability to interact effectively with the Accounting team. /lili Good planning and organizational skills. /lili Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines. /lili Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach. /lili High level of accuracy, integrity and accountability. /li /ulp Qualifications /pulli Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration. /lili At least 3 years of experience in Business Controlling, Controlling, FPA or Financial Analysis, preferably within an international environment. /lili Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting processes. /lili Good knowledge of key accounting topics and month-end/year-end closing processes. /lili Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools is considered a strong advantage. /lili Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into business insights. /lili Good command of English,
