In 2024 and 2025, Ardonagh Italia announced a series of acquisitions and new launches, becoming one of the top 10 brokers in Italy. /ppbr / /ppstrongRole Purpose /strong /ppbr / /ppThe Technical Accounting Specialist will play a key role within the finance function of Ardonagh Italia, reporting to the Accounting Finance Manager, with specific responsibility for the technical (insurance brokerage) accounting cycle across the Group’s brokerage companies. The role focuses on the correct accounting of premiums and commissions, the reconciliation of accounts with insurers and other intermediaries, the management of segregated client-money accounts under Article 117 of the Italian Insurance Code (CAP), and the harmonisation of technical accounting processes across newly acquired entities.
Working at the intersection of the brokerage operating systems and the general ledger, the role ensures that technical balances are accurate, reconciled and compliant with IVASS regulation, local GAAP (OIC) and Group IFRS reporting requirements. /ppbr / /ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /ppbr / /pullistrongPremium Commission Accoun /strongting: manage the technical accounting cycle for insurance and reinsurance brokerage business — recording of premiums, commissions and fees, matching of debit/credit notes, and correct allocation between insurers, clients and the brokerage /lilistrongInsurer Intermediary Reconciliat /strongions: prepare and reconcile statements of account (bordereaux) with insurers, coinsurers and other intermediaries, investigating and clearing ageing items and unallocated cash. /lilistrong Client Money (Art. 117 /strongCAP): oversee the accounting and reconciliation of segregated client-money accounts, ensuring the separation of fiduciary funds and compliance with IVASS requirements on the handling of premiums collected on behalf of insurers and clients /lilistrongCash Allocation Credit Control /strong: monitor collections and settlements, ensure timely allocation of incoming and outgoing flows, and support credit control on outstanding premium and commission balances /lilistrongGL Integration Month /strong-End: ensure the correct interface between the brokerage management systems and the general ledger, reconcile technical sub-ledgers to the GL, and support the month-end close with the related accruals and adjustments (IFRS and OIC) /lilistrong Entity Onboar /strongding: support the technical-accounting onboarding of newly acquired brokers,
