ppIntertek, Multinational Company leader in ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection, Certification) is seeking an experienced bStructural Integrity Engineers /b for upcoming work related to operational plants, brownfield modifications, and revamp projects across multiple Energy assets. This role focuses on evaluating the structural condition of existing facilities, assessing degradation, verifying load capacity, and supporting engineering decisions related to life extension, structural tie-ins and structural reliability. /ppThe Structural Integrity Engineer provides technical authority in structural assessment, load evaluation, and degradation‑related structural engineering, ensuring that all recommendations are technically defensible, compliant with international codes, and aligned with Client integrity requirements. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliPerform structural integrity assessments for non‑pressurized structural elements, including pipe racks, platforms, walkways, supports, buildings, foundations, and steel frames /liliEvaluate corrosion‑related section loss, deformation, vibration issues, and structural overstress conditions /liliConduct load evaluations (dead, live, thermal, wind, seismic, equipment loads) for existing structures /liliAssess structural adequacy for revamp scopes, equipment replacement, and structural tie‑ins /liliSupport API 579 Part 5/9 assessments only where applicable to structural components (e.g., local thin areas, crack‑like flaws) /liliReview legacy structural drawings, as‑built documentation,
and field measurements to validate structural capacity /liliEvaluate use of existing structures for new loads or modified operating conditions /liliProvide structural input to revamp engineering packages, MOCs, and tie‑in feasibility studies /liliSupport temporary works, lifting studies, and construction‑related structural checks /liliInterpret inspection data and correlate degradation mechanisms with structural performance /liliPrepare structural assessment reports, engineering justifications, and recommendations for repair, reinforcement, or replacement /liliInterface with Mechanical, Corrosion, Process, and Inspection teams to resolve data gaps and ensure alignment /liliEnsure compliance with Eurocodes, AISC, ASCE, API, and Client standards /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Master's degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage /liliMinimum 5 years demonstrable experience acting as Structural Integrity Engineer. /liliExperience with structural analysis software for assessment‑level calculations /liliChartered Engineer (CEng / PE / EUR Ing) or equivalent. /liliAPI 579 familiarity (Parts 5 9) is an advantage /liliTraining in structural assessment, Eurocodes, or API/ASME integrity standards /liliStrong understanding of structural analysis principles, load combinations, and code‑based assessment methods /liliProficiency in evaluating non‑pressurized structural elements: steel structures, concrete structures, pipe racks, platforms, supports, and foundations /liliAbility to assess corrosion, section loss, deformation, vibration, and fatigue‑related issues /liliFamiliarity with operational constraints, plant walkdowns, and brownfield engineering practices /liliWorking knowledge of integrity management systems and inspection workflows /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
