ph3Aerospace Lead Auditor /h3 pRINA is currently recruiting for a bAerospace Lead Auditor /b to join its office in bFlorence, Italy /b within the bMediterranean Africa Certification /b Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pThe role focuses on planning, execution, and management of audits within our certification business, leading large and complex customer engagements, ensuring effective audit processes, compliance with standards, and fostering strong client relationships. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul liLead and coordinate comprehensive third‑party audits in accordance with the EN9100:2018 aerospace quality management standard, conducting thorough evaluations of client processes and quality systems to verify compliance and identify areas for continuous improvement. /li liManage a complex three‑year strategic audit schedule for diverse aerospace client organizations, ensuring timely execution of audits that uphold certification validity and foster sustained organizational development. /li liEngage proactively with clients, conducting in-depth consultations to understand their operational environments and certification goals, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor who supports their journey toward excellence. /li liCollaborate extensively with internal departments such as engineering, quality assurance, and compliance teams to facilitate the effective implementation of audit recommendations and corrective action plans, ensuring measurable outcomes. /li liStay abreast of the latest advancements in aerospace regulations, including EASA Part 145 and Part 21, as well as evolving industry quality standards and best practices, equipping yourself to offer informed counsel and maintain RINA Services’ leadership in the certification domain. /li liContribute to the ongoing enhancement of audit methodologies, tools,



and practices within the aerospace certification division by sharing insights and developing innovative approaches that boost audit quality and efficiency. /li liConduct training and mentoring sessions for junior auditors and staff to support knowledge transfer and professional development within the team. /li liTravel extensively (75%-100%) to client sites across the Mediterranean Africa regions, delivering audits and client support with a flexible, responsive approach adapted to suit varied operational contexts. /li /ul h3Education /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree /li liHigh School Diploma/GED in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liSuccessful completion of the IAQG‑recognised 9100:2016 Aerospace Auditor Transition Training, validated by accredited Personnel Certification Bodies. /li liAt least four years of dedicated aerospace sector experience, particularly within engineering, manufacturing, or quality control roles focused on aerospace components or systems. /li liProfessional certification or registration on Aerospace Registers such as OASIS, particularly in relation to EN9100:2018 standards, will be regarded as a significant advantage. /li liStrong familiarity with critical aerospace regulatory frameworks, including EASA Part 145 and Part 21, demonstrating the ability to interpret and apply these requirements effectively. /li liExcellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Italian,
