Reporting into Senior Manager Accounts Payable based in the UK. You will be responsible for the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, overseeing multiple entities across multiple continents. Leading a team of up to 10. /p pThis role combines hands‑on operational ownership, people leadership, and process improvement, ensuring AP runs efficiently, compliantly, and at scale in a fast-paced, global environment. /p pThe ideal candidate is an experienced AP leader who is proactive, organised, detail‑driven, and confident managing both global stakeholders and teams. /p h3What you will be doing: /h3 h3Team leadership development /h3 ul liLead, manage and develop the Accounts Payable team, including Analysts, Senior Analysts and Associates. /li liSet clear objectives, manage performance,



and support career development and progression, aligning with Checkout Operating Principles. /li liEnsure appropriate coverage, workload balance, and adherence to SLAs /li liAct as the escalation point for complex issues and high‑risk queries /li /ul h3Accounts Payable Operations /h3 ul liOwn the end‑to‑end AP process across Checkout.com entities /li liEnsure invoices, credit notes, expenses, and payments are processed accurately and on time /li liOversee weekly and ad‑hoc payment runs, ensuring appropriate controls and approvals /li liEnsure AP tickets are managed effectively and queries resolved within agreed SLAs /li liOversee expense claims and corporate card activity in line with TE policy /li liEnsure supplier statement reconciliations are completed and reviewed regularly /li /ul h3Controls, compliance reporting /h3 ul liEnsure key AP controls are consistently followed to mitigate risk. /li liPartner with Global Financial Controllers to support month‑end close, including bank reconciliations /li liReview AP‑related reporting, including ageing, KPIs, and statutory requirements such as Quarterly Payment Practices Report /li /ul h3Stakeholder management /h3 ul liBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers /li liSupport wider Finance and business projects as required /li /ul h3About You /h3 ul li5+ years’ Accounts Payable experience (required) /li li2+ years’ experience managing a team in an AP or shared services environment (required)
