Prepares samples for indicator organisms, sterility tests, working and Master cell cultures.
- Applies aseptic techniques in daily workload.
- Maintains media and reagents as needed for daily microbiological testing.
- Provides routine preventive maintenance by daily cleaning, sanitizing, and trash disposal.
- Performs quality control monitoring by taking incubator temperatures, inoculating control organisms, running media controls, etc.
- Independently pursues an assigned series of processes, procedures, or techniques in accordance with Zoetis policies and procedures.
- Maintains laboratory conditions, to include equipment, supplies, quality assurance programs, and accurate records throughout all procedures.
- Performs all activities in a neat, safe, hygienic, and efficient manner.
- Shares information in an open, and timely manner.




- Performs standard testing procedures and analyses according to assigned priorities and schedule such that individual goals as well as team goals are achieved.
- Assists the supervisor in the organization and follow up of the R&D; projects with designing and conducting experiments, and then carefully observing and reporting on the results.
- Plans and reports results from laboratory and pilot microbiological and fermentation studies.
- Performs Process and media development lab trials.
- Works together with a multidisciplinary team for complex investigations and problem-solving activities.
