- Efficiently preparing technical specifications for the assigned scope.
- Reviewing supplier documentation to ensure that engineering documents meet project specific requirements.
- Perform quality / design review to ensure the required quality.
- Ensures high-quality engineering documents and takes a proactive approach to prevent and address quality issues.
- Tracks document progress and takes ownership of content.
- Supporting construction and commissioning by addressing issues within the assigned field.
- Contribute to maintain and improve the standards documents **Specific responsibilities**
- Selecting pipe material based on process requirements.
- Creating new pipe classes, maintaining existing and preparing strength calculation
- Determination of bolt torque for flanged connections
- Prepare piping strength calculation and pipe support details and criteria.
- Weight estimate (piping, supports, insulation)




- Ensures that the scope of work complies with internal company work instructions, standards and contractual requirements. **Qualifications** Qualifications** **Job specific qualification**
- Support for persons performing similar functions
- High degree of autonomy in the management/development of different (sometimes complex) systems
- Very good product and system knowledge, i.e. expertise in piping materials, codes and standards (ASME / EN), prefabrication, cleaning, erection, quality assurance (workshop and erection) including pressure test
- Can recognize and execute the appropriate way forward, based on experience
- Takes decisions independently and in a timely manner within pre-determined limits
- Five (5) years of experience in piping design of heavy industrial plants, power plants or Oil and Gas plants **Competence in working methods**
- Good user knowledge of MS Office tools
- Fluency in English
- Good awareness and understanding of quality assurance
- Good problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to prioritize workload and to ensure on time delivery
