This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all infrastructure meets the highest standards of reliability, efficiency, and scalability. /pp The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex utility projects, utility infrastructure coordination, as well as experience working with cross-functional project and operations teams in a fast-paced, global environment. /pp Key Responsibilities: /pulli Establish project leadership for infrastructure projects, build and leverage partnerships with internal teams (development, construction, operations, finance, legal) and external stakeholders (consultants, authorities having jurisdiction, utilities providers, project partners, contractors) /lili Coordinate with and support (from a delivery perspective) CloudHQ's EMEA Energy Lead in negotiations with utilities and grid operators to secure power capacity and manage interconnection processes. /lili Liaise closely with EMEA Power Systems Engineer to ensure a coordinated approach to delivering power solutions across the region. /lili Lead project governance, reporting and approvals processes. /lili Ensure clear communication of project status, risks and identify where key decisions can be made or escalation to executive leadership is required. /lili Lead projects from early-stage feasibility through construction to delivery of all CloudHQ's utility Infrastructure across EMEA. /lili Define and manage scope, budget, programme, and development strategy. /lili Support Test-fit feasibility in respect of utility infrastructure requirements, planning and zoning constraints. /lili Support power, water, fibre and water infrastructure availability. /lili Confirm alignment with project business cases and manage internal investment approvals. /lili Subsequently, with technical teams, lead the development of concepts,



basis of design, and detailed design packages for utility infrastructure (Substations, cable interconnections) /lili Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary consultants (architects, engineers, planners, project cost management consultants); /lili With consultant support develop and manage project budgets and ensure cash flow alignment /lili Coordination and management of internal and external resources, and driving results in: /lili Change management /lili Procurement, confirming strategies, scope definitions and ensure Employer's Requirements are complied with; /lili Proactive management of market conditions and ensuring an agile approach to adaption (supply chain, contractor availability, utilities constraints); /lili Goal alignment/Stakeholder management; /lili Risk identification and ensuring appropriate mitigation measures are in place; /lili Establish reporting protocols on scope and schedule as required, ensuring effective reporting to senior leadership; /lili Ensure establishment of a robust and detailed project programme that can be used to negotiate /lili Ensure delivery awareness, applying practical understandings of construction sequencing and logistics, commissioning and integration of systems to be able to handover to operational teams /lili Ensure projects are fully prepared for construction /lili Ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health Safety (EHS) regulations, and requirements. This should not be limited to your specialism but be across all disciplines /lili Liaise with our customers to assist them in the delivery of their preferred solutions into CHQ Data Centers and be part of the team that makes us the data centre provider of choice /lili Consult with global CHQ colleagues to ensure that best practice is uniform across all our developments, irrespective of geographic location /lili Champion CHQ initiatives on all projects; and /lili Adhere to and promote the core values of CHQ. /li /ulp Required Experience Qualifications: /pulli Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred, relevant project management experience in delivery of large-scale utility infrastructure also acceptable. /lili Minimum 8+ years' experience in delivery of utility connections or similar complex technical projects across EMEA; Data Centre experience preferred /lili Background in complex industrial, grid infrastructure, pharmaceutical, or mission critical / high-tech development preferred if no data centre experience. /lili Fluency in English is required.
