- **About the job**:_ The Event Project Manager is a fundamental part of EMI’s team, responsible for designing, pitching, planning and delivering unique projects with equal parts of detail and finesse. The EPM will work in the office, independently as well as collaborate with the team to develop projects from concept stage to event date, including working on detailed budgets and operational documents. - **Primary Responsibilities**_
- Responsible for all allocated projects, from conception to completion, logistics, project management, design coordination, event budget monitoring and accounting
- Responsible for the creative process and final proposal presentation, ensuring a high
- quality project allocated projects/events, including frame and design, planning, and closing
- Effective management and monitoring of the project activities and ensure quality of delivery aligned to clients’ expectations
- Ensure timely and effective planning of events within agreed budgets
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and be able to prioritize between various tasks depending on deadlines. Promote timely decision-making and effective communication between all the event/project’s contributors at all levels
- Manage the development and production of creative assets, collateral,



and audio/visual elements.
- Organize and facilitate Site Inspection visits, and accompany the client when required
- Negotiate with suppliers on rates, availability, content, and timelines.
- Manage the timelines to include negotiation with clients whenever necessary
- Negotiate payment terms and contracts with the clients
- Manage administrative tasks such as budgeting and invoicing
- **Skills required**_
- Minimum 3 years of event management in a DMC
- Bachelor in Events, Tourism, Marketing or Communication is preferred
- High level creative thinking and the confidence and know-how to use it when challenging and interpreting the client brief.
- Articulate, literate and inspiring when presenting ideas and feedback.
- Strong communications skills including copywriting.
- Strong product-knowledge and the ability to identify new suppliers.
- The ability to generate a reliable supply of original ideas and concepts.
- The confidence and know-how to explain and support your thinking, both internally and externally.
- A flexible approach and willingness to adapt your ideas to the needs of clients.
- A passion for events and communication.
- The resilience to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
