Key Responsabilities: - Technical support to service and purchasing departments
- Assist in the preparation, update and archiving of technical documentation (drawings, schematics, certificates) for lifesaving appliances (LSA) and fire-fighting equipment (FFE).
- Support scheduling and coordination of maintenance, inspection and testing jobs for lifeboats, davits, rescue boats and fixed/mobile fire-fighting systems on vessels.
- Maintain and update the maintenance database and track job status, spare-parts usage, service reports and certificates.
- Liaise with service engineers/technicians, suppliers and ship-owners/ship-operators to coordinate logistics, parts ordering and job planning.
- Prepare reports, summaries and job sheets for clients and internal management.
- Assist in cost control, purchase requests for spare parts and consumables, and support the Technical Office Manager in budget follow-up.
- Provide administrative support to the field teams: travel arrangements, tools, spares, job approvals, expense reporting.
- Support continuous improvement of the Technical Office processes, filing systems, digital tools and communication flows. **Required qualification**
- High school diploma or technical diploma (mechanical, marine engineering,)
- bachelor’s degree in engineering or maritime discipline.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD **Required experience, technical knowledge & skills**
- Basic knowledge of marine lifesaving appliances) and/or fire-fighting systems is desirable.
- Good spoken and written English (fluency is a plus)
- Previous experience (1-2 years) in a technical office, service centre or maritime company (preferably in lifesaving/appliances or fire-fighting systems).
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude.
- Teamworking
- Willingness to travel.
- Good interpersonal skill.
