DUTIES
Optec is looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer, dealing with:

- Development of mechanical projects from the preliminary phase to delivery.
- 3D modeling and creation of technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor 2024, Vault 2024 and AutoCAD 2024.
- Collaboration with the AIT department for the definition of integration procedures and the development of MGSE/EGSE/OGSE.
- Creation of bills of materials (BOMs), preliminary and final layouts, rendering and preparation for testing and delivery.
- Meetings with customers and suppliers
- Support for measurement activities
- Technical support to mechanical workshops

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS:





- Degree in mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English
- Experience in mechanical design, preferably in the opto-mechanical sector
- Knowledge of Office, Inventor, AutoCAD and Vault
- Teamwork skills and quality orientation
- Availability of short-term trips, even overseas, at the customer's site
