Purpose of the position:
As Construction Instrument Superintendent, you will be part of the Construction Department of Business Line Energy Carriers within the Bioraffineria project based in Livorno.
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
- Ensure HSE compliance and operational safety, supporting the HSE Manager, contributing to safety walkdowns, incident investigations, and implementation of safe work practices across all activities.
- Coordinate commissioning and start-up activities, ensuring requirements are incorporated into engineering documentation, project plans, schedules, and vendor execution programs.
- Manage maintenance planning and execution, including preventive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance activities, resource allocation, material planning, and vendor coordination.
- Control work execution and process safety systems, approving work permits, overseeing Permit to Work implementation, and ensuring proper management of process control overrides and operational safeguards.
- Develop personnel and optimize plant performance, delivering training, identifying competency gaps, and continuously improving maintenance strategies, spare parts management, and manpower utilization based on operational feedback.
What are we looking for?
Education:
Technical Diploma / Degree in Engineering field
Experience
Relevant experience as Commissioning and Maintenance Instrument Superintendent.
Technical Skills:
Commissioning, Start-up & Maintenance Expertise: Proven experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities across analyzer, automation, instrumentation, and telecommunication systems.
Technical Documentation & Engineering Review: Strong ability to read, interpret, and review technical documentation, including P&IDs;, isometrics, piping layouts, plot plans, alignment sheets, support standards, and installation procedures.
Problem Solving & Operational Support: Capable of identifying technical issues during project execution and plant operations, implementing timely corrective actions to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient system performance.
What can we offer to you:
- For home office contract: Pay not lower than € 43.000,00
