/p pHe/She has to follow safety and cost-effectiveness criteria, Contractual requirements, International Codes and Standards.
/p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul liReview of contractual documentations /li liMATERIAL SELECTION including: ul licorrosion rate evaluation or calculation as per literature data and / or corrosion software /li liselection of proper material grade (i.e. low alloy, CRA, etc.) along with corrosion allowance /li lidefinition of requirements (chemical composition restriction, heat treatment conditions and/or corrosion testing, installation of insulation kit, etc.) for specific corrosive fluids (i.e. sour service HIC/SSC, high temperature hydrogen attack, amine, etc.) /li lireview of laboratory corrosion testing procedures /li /ul /li liPROTECTIVE COATING / LINING (atmospheric corrosion, internal lining, buried and submerged surfaces) including hot dip galvanizing, thermal spray coating, etc.
This duty includes: ul lidefinition of technical specifications /li lireview of Vendor documentation /li licoating pre-job meeting at application workshops / site /li liaudit at laboratories for accelerated corrosion tests; /li lispot inspections during and after application; /li /ul /li liCORROSION MONITORING requires the following:



ul liidentification of probe types suitable for corrosive process; /li liinstallation place of probes and coupon; /li lidefine of the threshold limits / acceptance criteria based on probes selected; /li /ul /li liCATHODIC PROTECTION: general protection criteria and design by SACP and ICCP; /li liRISK BASED INSPECTION requires the following: ul libasic knowledge of the methodology; /li liability to manage the third party and contractual requirements in order to prepare all the deliverables requested such as: inspection plan (CML), corrosion loops marked up, etc.
; /li /ul /li liCORROSION INHIBITION / CHEMICAL TREATMENT in order to manage the corrosion phenomena /li liCHEMICAL CLEANING in order to meet proper process requirement; /li liASSISTANCE, providing support during design phases, construction and commissioning in the operating center and/or at site based on the project needs.
/li /ul h3Requirements and Skills /h3 ul liMaster's degree in Industrial Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, Material Science or similar technical field; /li liMaterial and Metallurgical background with knowledge of material selection for application in petrochemical, power, fertilizing and oil gas industry; /li liavailability to travel at site and/or vendor workshop on the basis of Company needs; /li li3 ÷ 5 years of experience is a preferred requirement.
