/p h3Why you should join /h3 pTE Connectivity is seeking a Mold Designer to join our Global Automotive business, with a strong focus on simulation-driven design for liquid silicone rubber (LSR) processes.
In this role, you will go beyond traditional design by leveraging advanced simulation tools such as SigmaSoft, Moldflow, and Ansys to optimize tool performance from early development stages.
/p pYou will play a key role in improving product quality and manufacturing efficiency by integrating simulation insights into design decisions, contributing to innovative, data-driven engineering solutions aligned with TE's strategic goals.
/p pFor this role, compensation starts from ****** EUR gross, depending on experience and skills.
It sits within a broader package that reflects the overall value of the role.
/p h3Your main tasks /h3 ul liDesign and develop LSR tools, including demolding robots and related equipment, ensuring functionality and efficiency /li liCreate accurate 3D models, drawings, and assembly layouts for tooling and mold sub-assemblies /li liConduct and lead simulation analyses (SigmaSoft, Moldflow, Ansys) to validate and optimize tool and process performance /li liAnalyze simulation results and translate them into design improvements and process optimizations /li liManage and maintain CAD models, drawings, and revision history using PDMLink /li liProvide technical documentation and guidance to suppliers to ensure correct interpretation of construction drawings /li liIdentify and resolve production and mold issues using simulation-driven root cause analysis /li liSupport cross-functional activities such as PFMEA, problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives /li liSupport tool debugging, validation,



and industrialization until process release /li /ul h3Your ideal background /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field /li li1+ years of experience in tool design combined with simulation exposure (academic or professional) /li liHands-on experience or strong exposure to simulation tools such as SigmaSoft, Moldflow, or Ansys /li liProficiency in 3D CAD systems (CREO) /li liBasic understanding of injection molding processes; knowledge of LSR is a plus /li liAbility to interpret simulation results and apply them to improve design and manufacturing outcomes /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a proactive and results-driven approach /li liGood English communication skills, both written and verbal /li liAbility to work independently and collaborate in a multicultural environment /li /ul h3About Te Connectivity /h3 pTE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
