The Group operates in over 100 markets spanning Europe, North and South America, Asia, and Africa. /p h3Scope of the role /h3 pThe resource will be responsible for the design, evolution, operation and security of the enterprise and industrial network infrastructure across Alfasigma's corporate and manufacturing sites. The role ensures network reliability, performance, segmentation and regulatory compliance, acting as the technical reference point for LAN/WAN, data center networking, wireless and IT/OT connectivity in a regulated (GxP/GMP) environment. The resource is also expected to manage the full lifecycle of the systems under their responsibility and to operate confidently across hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructures. /p h3Your key responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, configure and maintain enterprise networks based on Cisco technology (routing, switching, VLAN, VRF, spanning-tree). /li liManage WAN/SD-WAN connectivity, MPLS and inter-site links, including performance and capacity management. /li liManage enterprise wireless infrastructure (controllers, access points, site surveys, coverage optimization). /li liConfigure and operate perimeter and internal firewalls, network segmentation and IT/OT segregation. /li liImplement and maintain network security controls (NAC, 802.1X, ACL, micro‑segmentation, hardening). /li liSupport secure remote access and VPN architectures. /li liManage the full lifecycle of network systems and devices (provisioning, configuration, firmware/patching, upgrades, capacity management and secure decommissioning). /li liMonitor network performance, availability and capacity; manage incidents and root‑cause analysis. /li liContribute to Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity for network services. /li liMaintain technical and validation documentation in line with GxP/GMP requirements.
/li liCoordinate with vendors, carriers and system integrators. /li /ul h3Who are you /h3 h3Technical requirement /h3 ul liHands‑on experience with Cisco networking (Catalyst, Nexus, ISR/ASR, Wireless LAN Controllers). /li liHands‑on experience with Cisco Meraki cloud‑managed networking (MX security appliances, MS switches, MR wireless, Meraki Dashboard, Auto VPN and zero‑touch provisioning). /li liSolid knowledge of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, VLAN, VRF). /li liExperience with firewalling and network security (Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet or equivalent). /li liExperience with SD‑WAN and WAN optimization technologies. /li liKnowledge of enterprise Wi‑Fi design and management. /li liSolid knowledge of server virtualization on both Microsoft Hyper‑V and VMware vSphere/ESXi (vCenter, clustering, HA/DR). /li liExperience with hyper‑converged infrastructure (HCI) platforms (VMware vSAN, Nutanix, Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local). /li liWorking knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid‑cloud services (Azure Arc, hybrid connectivity, Azure VMware Solution). /li liAbility to manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of systems and infrastructure (deployment, patching, upgrades, capacity and decommissioning). /li liFamiliarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g. SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, PRTG). /li liUnderstanding of IT/OT segregation and industrial networking principles. /li liNetwork automation/scripting fundamentals (Python, Ansible) considered a plus. /li /ul h3Required / preferred certification /h3 ul liRequired:
Cisco CCNA (or equivalent foundational networking certification). /li liStrongly preferred: Cisco CCNP Enterprise and/or CCNP Security. /li liValued as a plus: Fortinet NSE 4+, Cisco SD‑WAN / DNA Center (CCNP‑level), ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Security+. /li /ul h3Regulatory context requirement /h3 ul liExperience in regulated environments (Pharma, Medical, Food, Automotive). /li liExperience in GMP environments is considered a strong added value. /li liKnowledge of GxP, Annex 11 and Data Integrity principles. /li liExperience supporting audits (AIFA/FDA/customers).Experience operating within validated environments (CSV). /li liStructured, quality‑oriented approach. /li liAbility to work in complex, multi‑site environments. /li liStrong problem‑solving attitude and operational autonomy. /li liFlexibility and ability to adapt to challenging, fast‑changing and demanding contexts. /li liAbility to interact with technical and business stakeholders. /li liOrientation toward continuous improvement. /li /ul h3Required experience /h3 ul li5–8 years in similar network engineering roles within structured infrastructures. /li liExperience in industrial / mission‑critical contexts. /li /ul h3Why Join Alfasigma /h3 pAt Alfasigma, we foster a culture where the courage to innovate is key to our success.
