Experteer Overview

As Lead Counsel Digital, AI, & Cyber Law, you will guide legal support for ABB’s digital business and transformation efforts. You’ll partner with tech and business teams to ensure innovative solutions are underpinned by compliant, ethical practices. You will shape the company’s digital strategy and manage complex technology agreements across borders. This role offers the chance to influence AI, cybersecurity, and data-driven initiatives at a global robotics leader.

- Provide legal advice on digital business initiatives (AI, cloud, data centres, software licensing)
- Guide the company’s digital strategy leveraging AI and emerging technologies
- Draft, review and negotiate digital and technology agreements with global customers, partners, and suppliers
- Support digital transformation projects with compliance to laws and internal policies
- Advise on IP, cybersecurity, and related regulatory issues impacting digital business
- Collaborate with global and local Legal & Integrity colleagues for consistency




- Monitor legal and regulatory trends in digital and tech markets to identify risks and opportunities
- Protect the company’s reputation by ensuring ethical and compliant operations
- Provide training and guidance to business stakeholders on legal issues related to digital offerings

Responsabilità

- 10–15 years of experience in commercial/technology law
- Experience in multinational corporate or top-tier law firm environment
- Expertise in digital, AI, IT, cyber law, software licensing, cloud, data centres, and data protection
- Robotics sector experience preferred but not required
- Track record negotiating complex technology agreements across international markets
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with senior stakeholders
- Pragmatic, solution-oriented, commercially minded
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are assets
