Project Manager (m/f/d) - Terminal Projects Italy

In this 2-year fixed-term role, you lead on-site delivery of railway infrastructure in Italy, driving a high-impact project. You will coordinate with internal teams, contractors and authorities to ensure timely, compliant execution and cost control. Your work supports a more sustainable logistics future and tangible infrastructure outcomes. You’ll shape project direction, manage risks, and represent the company with stakeholders. - Lead day-to-day execution of railway infrastructure projects in Italy as on-site project manager and company representative
- Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and execution plans to ensure successful delivery
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, planners, and stakeholders on objectives and deliverables
- Oversee construction activities ensuring quality, safety, contractual and technical compliance
- Monitor performance across budget, schedule, resources, risks,



and scope with corrective actions as needed
- Identify and resolve project issues and risks with practical solutions
- Prepare and maintain project reporting with progress, risks, costs, and milestones for management
- Build relationships with clients, contractors, authorities, and stakeholders while representing the company
- Identify cost optimization and process improvement opportunities
- Implement BIM methodologies to enhance coordination and visualization
- Maintain strong relationships with local authorities and municipalities
- Assist with land-related clarifications with local authorities and RFI
- Assist with building permit procedures
- Assist in technical Site DD for upcoming Italian CargoBeamer locations
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related engineering discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project; experience with iTWO and SAP is advantageous
- Fluent in Italian with professional English proficiency (minimum B2); German is a plus
