Role Description The Travel Consultant is a contract, on-site role based in Vicenza. This role involves advising clients on travel options across Italy, creating customized itineraries that balance major attractions with off-the-beaten-path experiences. Day-to-day tasks include managing travel arrangements, coordinating transportation and accommodation, handling reservations, and ensuring all trip details are accurate and timely.

The Travel

Consultant will provide responsive customer service, answer questions before and during travel,



and resolve issues to maintain a high level of traveler satisfaction. The position also includes collaborating with local partners, staying current on Italian destinations and travel trends, and contributing ideas to improve the overall travel experience offered by My Trip To Italia.

Qualifications

Demonstrated skills in travel consulting and advising clients on itineraries and destination options.

Experience with travel management, including end-to-end trip planning and coordination.

Ability to handle travel arrangements such as transportation, accommodation, tours, and related logistics.

Strong customer service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and problem-solving.

Competence in managing reservations using relevant booking systems or platforms.

Knowledge of Italian geography, culture, and major and lesser-known destinations, especially in and around Vicenza.

Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Italian is highly beneficial.

Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple clients and itineraries simultaneously.

Comfort working on-site and collaborating with local partners and team members.

Previous experience in travel agencies, tour operations, or hospitality is an advantage.
