As an Associate Buyer, you will work closely with the buying team to ensure that the right products are reaching our customers through a well-established and growing European store network. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 h3A Day in the Life:



/h3 h3Product Assortment Planning /h3 ul liParticipate in the building of assortments during market and create buying strategies down to classification level. /li liThink strategically about SKU productivity and in store presentations while assorting the line. /li liGain a strong understanding of the Tory Burch customer: visit stores frequently, review product performance, and communicate learnings back to team. /li liCompetitive knowledge: competitive shop analysis, read relevant publications to stay on top of trends. /li liMaintain buy plans to ensure accuracy, act as the point person for communication with cross-functional teams and store employees. /li liExecute and initiate on in-season strategies as determined by buying team. /li liMarkdown management – pricing and store communication. /li liRespond to store requests and inquiries in a timely manner. /li liReview historical performance at the category and key item level on weekly basis. /li liPartner with planning and senior buyer on the determination of receipt plans, margin/IMU targets, and product flow. /li /ul h3Cross Functional Collaboration /h3 ul liBuild cross-functional team relationships; adopt a collaborative style. /li liRecommend, support, and implement process and procedural improvements into daily responsibilities. /li liPartner with Planning and Allocation on the following processes: assortment planning, OTB, in season strategies and allocations to maximize inventory performance. /li liWork cross functionally with Stores, Marketing, PR, EComm, Visual and Retail Operations, to ensure they have the tools to understand and support the assortment strategy. /li liPartner with merchandising team to ensure balanced assortment and share product feedback. /li /ul h3Strategic Thinking and Financial Acumen /h3 ul liSupport with preparation of reports and pull data necessary to recap business and propose actions to drive sales. /liliMaintain accurate warehouse dates and communicate any delays in new deliveries.



/li liUnderstanding of retail math and participation in open to buy forecasting process with planning /li /ul h3To Land This Role /h3 pbEDUCATION PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED /b To deliver the main responsibilities of the role, you will need the following skills: /p ul liProven track record in Buying / merchandising within luxury/premium fashion environment /li liMinimum experience of 3-5 years in a similar capacity, preferably with an Outlet background /li liStrong numerical and analytical skills /li liMust have advanced Excel skills /li liExperience in working in multiple currencies /li liStrong and effective presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively /li liAbility to work in a fast-paced environment /li liExcellent attention to detail. /li liA fast learner, able to work independently and cross functionally in a fast paced and dynamic environment. /li liSomeone who uses initiative with a hands-on approach and the ability to prioritize. /li liA team player who is focused on delivering results. /li /ul h3Technical /h3 ul liStrong IT and Analytical skills; Sound knowledge in Microsoft Excel skills required, must be comfortable handling and manipulating large data sets. /li liSkilled on Microsoft office PowerPoint. /li liAbility to quickly learn other Company’s tools.
