/p h3About The Role /h3 pReporting to the Director of Finance, the Assistant Director of Finance plays a pivotal role in leading the day?to?day operations of the Accounting Office and supporting the hotel's overall commercial success.
The position combines strategic financial leadership with operational excellence, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, compliance and business performance across the property.
As a trusted business partner to the wider leadership team, you will provide financial insight that supports informed decision?making, while helping to create a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the Director of Finance in overseeing the daily operations of the Accounting Office,



ensuring accuracy, compliance and operational effectiveness /li liDrive budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting activities, delivering timely insights that influence business performance and strategic decisions /li liEnsure the integrity of profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls across the hotel /li liLead internal, external and regulatory audit processes while maintaining compliance with Marriott standards, local regulations and financial governance requirements /li liPartner with operational leaders to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability and resource utilisation /li liLeverage technology, systems and analytical tools to enhance reporting capabilities and provide meaningful commercial insight /li liCoach, develop and inspire the finance team through open communication, performance development and recognition of success /li liFoster a strong accounting and operational control environment that safeguards assets,

Success in this role requires a strong understanding of financial management, controls, budgeting and reporting, coupled with the confidence to translate complex financial information into practical business recommendations.
