Due to continued success, they are looking to expand their team with a Senior Power Electronics Engineer - MVDC /p /brh3The Role /h3 /brpAs Senior Power Electronics Engineer, you'll lead the design and development of MVDC power conversion systems from concept through to qualification.
You'll own converter design end-to-end, topology selection, simulation, hardware design, and validation, while mentoring junior engineers and working closely with systems, controls, and mechanical teams.
/p /brh3Key Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliDesign and develop MVDC converters (e.g. DC/DC, AC/DC) at medium voltage levels (3kV-35kV class) /li /brliTopology evaluation and selection, modular multilevel, DAB, ISOP/IPOS series-stacked architectures, resonant topologies /li /brliSimulation and modelling (PLECS, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink) /li /brliInsulation coordination, creepage/clearance design, and partial discharge considerations at MV levels /li /brliLab prototyping, high-voltage testing,



and design verification /li /brliSupport compliance with relevant standards (IEC *****, IEC *****, IEEE **** as applicable) /li /brliMentor junior engineers and contribute to design reviews and technical strategy /li /br /ul /brh3About You /h3 /brul /brliDegree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (MSc/PhD advantageous) /li /brli5+ years in power electronics design, with demonstrable experience at medium voltage (3kV DC) /li /brliStrong grasp of MV converter topologies, series device operation, and high-voltage insulation design /li /brliHands-on lab experience with high-voltage test environments and safety practices /li /brliExperience with SiC and/or high-voltage IGBT platforms /li /brliComfortable owning designs end-to-end in a fast-moving environment /li /br /ul /brh3Nice to Have /h3 /brul /brliMMC or solid-state transformer experience /li /brliMarine, grid, rail, or industrial DC distribution background /li /brliExperience taking products through certification /li /br /ul /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
