/p h3The Role /h3 pReporting into the wider Global Procurement organisation, you will lead the Italian Procurement Operations team and serve as the primary procurement representative for local stakeholders, suppliers, auditors, and business leadership.
/p pYou will play a pivotal role in driving procurement transformation, embedding best-practice processes, and ensuring procurement operations fully support the organisation's strategic objectives.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Procurement Leadership /h3 ul liLead and develop the Country Procurement Operations team in Italy.
/li liAct as the senior local representative for the Procurement function across internal and external stakeholder groups.
/li liBuild strong partnerships with manufacturing, supply chain, finance,
and business leaders to deliver procurement objectives.
/li liRepresent procurement during interactions with suppliers, auditors, and other external parties.
/li /ul h3Operational Excellence Transformation /h3 ul liDrive the implementation of global procurement transformation programmes and operational excellence initiatives across the Italian business.
/li liLead change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes and ways of working.
/li liSupport the continuous improvement of procurement operations and governance frameworks.
/li liEnsure procurement activities remain aligned with both local business requirements and global strategic priorities.
/li /ul h3Performance Compliance /h3 ul liOwn procurement reporting and performance management processes, ensuring accurate and timely submission of key operational metrics.
/li liMonitor procurement efficiency, effectiveness, and quality standards.
/li liLead collaboration with audit teams and ensure full compliance across the Source-to-Pay process.
/li liDrive adherence to procurement policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
/li /ul h3Project Stakeholder Management /h3 ul liLead and support local procurement projects aligned to broader business objectives.
/li liEnsure procurement initiatives are effectively integrated into operational processes.
/li liWork cross-functionally to identify opportunities for improvement, cost optimisation, and risk mitigation.
/li liInfluence stakeholders at all levels to support procurement-led business outcomes.
/li /ul h3About You /h3 pWe are looking for a commercially minded procurement professional with strong leadership capabilities and experience operating within complex, international organisations.
/p pYou will bring: /p ul li5+ years' experience in a procurement or supply chain leadership position.
/li liStrong experience across direct and indirect procurement categories.
/li liExposure to multinational environments with complex stakeholder networks.
/li liSound understanding of Source-to-Pay processes, procurement governance, and compliance requirements.
/li liProven experience driving operational improvement and procurement transformation programmes.
/li liStrong negotiation, supplier management, contract management, and risk management capabilities.
/li liExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
/li liStrong analytical capabilities with experience interpreting operational and supply chain data to support decision-making.
/li liDemonstrated project management and people leadership experience.
