ph3Job Description /h3 pMiniclip is looking for a Senior Game Designer to join our Studio in Genoa, Italy.
/p pYou will design, implement and refine gameplay systems, mechanics and features that create engaging player experiences and support retention and monetisation.
Working across the full product lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to live operations, you will collaborate closely with Producers, Developers, Artists and Analysts to continuously improve our games.
/p pThis is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of two days per week in our Genoa office.
/p h3What will you be doing at Miniclip?
/h3 ul liDesign and develop gameplay systems, mechanics, features and content that support player engagement, retention and monetisation.
/li liOwn game features from concept and prototyping through implementation, launch and post-release optimisation.
/li liDesign and balance game economies, progression systems and monetisation mechanics.
/li liUse game data and player behaviour insights to inform design decisions and improve live features.
/li liProduce clear design documentation and collaborate with Product, Development, Art and Analytics throughout implementation.
/li liSupport live operations through new content, events, updates and features.
/li liProvide design expertise, constructive feedback and guidance to other team members.
/li /ul h3What are we looking for?
/h3 ul liAt least 4 years of professional experience in game design, including gameplay and systems design, monetisation and live operations for mobile free-to-play games.
/li liExperience working across the full product lifecycle, from concept and prototyping through production, launch and ongoing live operations.
/li liStrong knowledge of mobile free-to-play game design and the techniques used to drive engagement, retention and monetisation.
/li liExperience designing and balancing game economies,



progression systems and gameplay features.
/li liExperience reviewing game analytics and player behaviour and using data to make informed design decisions.
/li liAbility to independently own complex design work and translate product goals into clear and implementable gameplay solutions.
/li liStrong creative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
/li liExperience providing guidance, feedback and support to other designers.
/li liExcellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills.
/li liA collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across Product, Design, Development, Art and Analytics.
/li liAvailability to work from our Genoa office for a minimum of two days per week.
