Through these areas, Institute Itech develops high?impact projects that improve quality of life, make cities more sustainable and create new models of scientific, industrial and social progress.Main areas of work include environmental monitoring, urban climate mitigation, AI?based neuroimaging, advanced data analysis and the development of applied technologies for the future.About the RoleThe IT Manager will lead the design, implementation and management of the institute's IT infrastructure, overseeing corporate systems, cloud services, cybersecurity, networks, devices, software environments, user access, IT policies and operational procedures to support a secure, scalable and professional organization.ResponsibilitiesIT Infrastructure & SystemsDesign and manage IT infrastructure (cloud, on?premise, hybrid systems)Oversee Microsoft 365, Entra ID and enterprise servicesManage networks, servers and internal systemsCybersecurityDefine and implement cybersecurity strategiesManage endpoint protection,



monitoring and threat detectionEnsure compliance with security frameworks and best practicesImplement VPNs, access control systems and secure communication protocolsDevice & Identity ManagementManage Intune, Apple Business Manager, MDM policiesConfigure and control corporate devices (MacBook, iPhone, etc.)Define user access, permissions and identity structuresSoftware & Platform Development SupportSupport development teams with infrastructure and deploymentOversee internal platforms (including custom systems and terminal environments)Ensure integration between backend systems and infrastructureGovernance & ComplianceEnsure compliance with GDPR and data protection standardsDefine IT policies, access control and internal security proceduresManage backups, disaster recovery and system continuityRequirementsMinimum 5+ years of experience in IT management, infrastructure or cybersecurityStrong experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)Knowledge of identity and access managementExperience with cybersecurity tools (EDR, SIEM, VPN, firewalls)Strong problem?solving and system design skillsPreferred QualificationsBackground in cybersecurity or information security managementExperience in research environments or tech startupsKnowledge of DevOps and infrastructure automationExperience managing distributed and international teamsBenefits ProvidedStrategic role in building Institute Itech's IT infrastructureDirect collaboration with executive leadership and technical teamsOpportunity to design systems from scratchGrowth path toward CIO or Director of IT & CybersecurityReimbursement of approved travel and project?related expensesCompensationAnnual gross salary: €54,000 – €60,000, dependent on experience and expertise.
