The Senior Technician will report directly to Oliver Harschnitz, Research Group Leader of the Harschnitz Group while working in close collaboration with members of the Vannini Group and the broader NPDs Flagship Research Programme.We are looking for highly motivated and creative stem cell biologists and virologists who have solid experience in human stem cell culture, CRISPR/Cas9 gene?editing, virology, and molecular biology.Your missionDesigning and performing experiments in the fields of stem cell biology and virologyPrecise genome engineering of hPSCs using CRISPR/Cas technologyEstablishment and optimisation of new tools and protocolsMaintaining hPSC lines and hPSC?derived cell culturesGenerating reliable data for publication in the projects to which they are assigned and record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic)Providing technical support and supervision to other laboratory members, including introduction and teaching of new laboratory techniques and support of lab equipmentParticipating in key aspects of general lab management and organisation (e.G., ordering/purchasing, managing inventories and stocks of samples, reagents, equipment, and materials)What You'll BringEssentialsPhD in a relevant subject area (stem cell biology, virology,
