We are looking for a motivated Learning & Development Specialist to join the pre-opening team of the Hyatt Regency Rome Central.The role will report to the Director of Human Resources and will support the Learning & Development function, ensuring continuity of training activities during a maternity leave.Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a newly renovated contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy's most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.Main duties and responsibilitiesSupport the design and implementation of training programs for all levels of staff, focusing on service excellence and operational effectivenessAssist in the development of onboarding and ongoing training contentCoordinate and deliver onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring alignment with company values and standardsCollaborate with department heads to identify training needs and support execution of training plansDeliver in-person and virtual training sessionsCoordinate external trainers when requiredMonitor training activities and collect feedback to ensure effective deliverySupport the creation of individual development plans based on performance and business needsProvide day-to-day support to employees on learning initiativesTrack training participation and support reporting activitiesEnsure compliance with company standards, policies, and proceduresSupport quality checks and continuous improvement initiatives across departmentsContribute to the integration of ESG principles into learning activitiesSkills and requirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field2–4 years of experience in Learning & Development or HRGood communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailFluent in Italian and English, both spoken and writtenWhat we offerA stimulating and collaborative work environment in a 5-star hotelOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCompetitive salary package (range ****** € – ****** €)Room discounts available worldwide within the Hyatt portfolioJoin our pre-opening team and support the development of our people and culture.We're committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diversity and equal opportunity.
