Senior Grid Connection Manager Italy (Remote /Hybrid) Contract: 12-Month Rolling B2B Contract (Partita IVA) The Opportunity: Our client is an international renewable energy developer delivering utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) projects across Italy. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Grid Connection Manager to lead all grid connection activities across the project lifecycle. This individual will act as the key technical interface between internal development teams, EPC contractors, Owner's Engineers and Italian network operators, ensuring projects progress successfully from development through to energisation.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-funded organisation with an ambitious project pipeline and play a key role in the delivery of Italy's energy transition. Lead grid connection activities for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects. Manage relationships with Italian DSOs throughout the grid connection process.

Coordinate grid-related activities during development, permitting,



construction and commissioning. Review electrical designs and ensure compliance with Italian grid requirements. Coordinate EPC contractors, Owner's Engineers and network operators.

Support technical due diligence activities on project acquisitions. Ensure projects achieve grid connection milestones on schedule. 5 years' experience within the renewable energy sector. Strong knowledge of the Italian grid connection process.

Experience delivering utility-scale Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage (BESS) projects.

Fluent

Italian and English. Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is advantageous but not essential. 12-month rolling B2B contract (Partita IVA). Remote/hybrid working within Italy. Opportunity to work on a growing portfolio of utility-scale renewable energy projects. Long-term contract with a well-funded international renewable energy developer.
