Energia is one of the leading players in the transformation and decarbonisation of power generation. Its turbogas fleet is already capable of burning between 40 and 70 per cent hydrogen, with the aim of reaching 100 per cent by 2030.
Position:
Support the engineering design activities mainly referring to the design of civil structures (steel frames and concrete buildings) from the basic design, through detail design up to construction design (including the details necessary to manage the procurement of materials and construction phases according to the national (NTC2018) and international (EC/ACI) structural and architectural codes).
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the execution of design activities with best engineering practices;
- Technical specs, calculation note, purchasing technical documentation, technical
evaluation of the Supplier’s offers, technical follow-up of the supplies;
- Define the basic design of structures according to the overall plant/facility design,
- Support the on-site erection activities for civil works;
- Coordinate mono-disciplinary working groups;
- Identify and manage the internal and external interfaces (stakeholders within the
project delivery framework).
Requirements:
- Master degree in Civil/Civil Geotechnical Engineering;
- At least 8 years of experience as structural/civil designer (preferably in a highly regulated industrial sector);
- Knowledge of concrete structures and steelwork and their design, of construction materials properties and of Geotechnics and their principles;
- Skilled in design procedures and regulations (Eurocode, USA standards, etc) and FEM software (e.g., Ansys, Staad V8 pro, sap2000, GTD strudl, Midas GTS, NX, etc) and 3D CAD tools.
- Additional competences: ·Upgrade or refurbishment of existing plant;
·Nuclear specific codes and standard for safety application, environmental and/or seismic qualification (e.g.,ASME III, RCC-M, IEC, IEEE, etc.);
·3D tools, 3D modeling (e.g., Tekla, Revit or other modelling software) and BIM methodology integration;
·Foundations and ground consolidation;
·Experience in site works.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment;
- Capability to take initiative, with a proactive attitude and personal drive;
- Ability to manage relationships: customer/supplier, between partners (in national or international JVs);
- Good knowledge of English language (spoken and written, fluent);
- No preclusion to trip’s time, duration and destination.

- For this position, the initial annual gross salary will be not less than € 50.000
