Scheduled to open in winter ****, this landmark property will feature 83 elegantly appointed guestrooms and suites, many with balconies offering breathtaking views.
Blending Art Nouveau heritage with modern sophistication, the resort will offer a range of world-class amenities including signature restaurants and bars, flexible event spaces, and an extensive spa and wellness facility with an indoor-outdoor pool.

/ph3bAbout the job /b /h3pWe're looking for a driven Director of Financeis responsible forthe determination ofoptimumcontrolobjectivesand for the installation and maintenance ofappropriate internalcontrol systems over income, expenditure,assetsand liabilities within the hotel.

/ph3bAs Director of Finance, you willresponsiblestrongfor the following duties: /strong /b /h3ulliTo manage, supervise and support all subordinate employees, with a view to optimising the profitability of the hotel and improving the guest experience.




/liliToinitiateemployee development and evaluation programmes for all subordinate staff to ensure the highest level of professional competence and efficient continuity within those positions.
/liliTo organise an efficient treasury function to provide proper management of the hotel's working capital and cash flowin accordance withMOHGminimumguidelines and within the requirements of the hotel's management contract.
Also, to ensure excessive investment is not made in receivables or inventories and that sufficient liquidity ismaintainedto meet the hotel's obligations.
/liliTo ensure all financial reports, budgets,forecastsand other information required by MOHG are accurately compiled andsubmittedwithin the specified time limits,identifyingvariances and making recommendations for improvements asappropriate.
/liliTo personally review forecasts and budgets prepared by hotel management to ensure the General Manager and MOHG corporate management are provided with guidelines of performance that are both reasonable and achievable.
/liliTo ensure all legal, treasury and tax documentation is properlymaintainedand secured and that all statutory and fiscal reporting requirements are satisfied, which will include any governmental requirement for permits and licences.
/liliTo continuouslymonitoreconomic,socialand governmental trends and policies to ensure the General Manager and MOHG corporate management are kept fully apprised of any implications which may affect the performance of the hotel in meeting its financialobjectives.
/liliTo ensure adequate controls are installed andmaintainedfor the protection of the hotel's assets against loss or misappropriation.
/liliTo ensure adequate insurance coverage ismaintainedto protect the assets of the hotel withparticular regardto the requirements contained in the hotel's management contract.




/liliAssume full responsibility for the proper control of all cash funds and other assets for subordinates.
/liliToestablisha comprehensive credit and collection policy for the hotel, based on good industry practice and within the guidelines provided by MOHG.
/liliTo carry out any other duties that may bereasonably requestedby the General Manager or MOHG corporate management.
/liliManaging and overseeing internal external audits.
/liliRisk Management Committee participation.
/li /ulh3bAs Director of Finance /bbweexpectfrom you: /b /h3ulliProven experience managing Finance operations in luxury hospitality environments.
/liliStrong knowledge of local tax laws, regulatory compliance and internal controls.
/liliProven track record in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
/liliExperience with hotel-specific financial systems is a strong advantage.
/liliExcellent leadership and team management skills.
/liliSound understanding of safety, environmental, and building regulations.
/liliEffective problem-solving and organizational abilities.
/liliStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
/liliFlexibility to handle emergencies and work varied shifts.
/liliFluency in Italian and English; other languages are advantageous.
/liliDegree or certification in Accounting, Finance of Business Administration.
