As a key member of the Medical Affairs organization and cross‐functional teams, the Global Medical Lead serves as the scientific expert, strategic partner, and medical ambassador for the GRIN‐NDD therapeutic area. This role drives science‐based decision‐making, advances medical understanding in collaboration with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders, and supports the evolution of diagnosis and treatment paradigms.
Strategic
Leadership and Medical Planning Enable, partner, and co‐create the global strategy for radiprodil throughout its lifecycle. Develop the global medical plan and guide/enable countries in the creation and execution of their local medical plans. Develop and update strategic scientific documents aligned with franchise priorities, including scientific narratives, slide decks, and core medical materials.
Execution of Global Medical Activities Ensure excellence and timely execution of medical tactics, including data and evidence generation, scientific exchange, and stakeholder engagement activities (e.g., advisory boards, congress symposia, publication planning). Represent the company at major scientific meetings, conferences, and congresses. Maintain deep clinical and scientific expertise in the assigned product, therapeutic area, and competitive landscape, and provide medical guidance to colleagues globally and locally.
Support other medical activities as assigned to advance the therapeutic area and company objectives.
Scientific Insight
Generation and Cross‐Functional Collaboration Participate in the collection, interpretation, and exchange of scientific insights relevant to the company's strategy and development efforts. Collaborate closely with cross‐functional teams to ensure alignment between medical strategy, evidence generation, and broader organizational objectives. Contribute to internal scientific training and knowledge‐sharing initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, MSc) preferred; life sciences degree required. 8 years' experience in Medical Affairs. Global or international experience and proven track record in drug launches required.
Experience in rare diseases within brain health highly preferred. Previous field medical experience (e.g., Experience in real‐world evidence generation, publications, and scientific presentations at congresses or academic forums. Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex scientific data. Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders under time and budget constraints.
