We are seeking a skilled Purchase Planning Specialist to support the strategic and operational management of raw materials purchasing and planning activities.
Job responsibilities
- Plan blind orders in close collaboration with the Central Planning and Merchandising teams;
- Coordinate raw material replenishment and secure production capacity with suppliers through dedicated meetings;
- Perform MRP analysis to maintain optimal stock levels and support business continuity;
- Monitor inbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proactively address delays or risks;
- Conduct stock analysis and manage stock re-use initiatives and stock sales to optimize inventory value and reduce obsolescence;
- Negotiate and validate pricing conditions and minimum order quantities to ensure competitiveness and operational efficiency;
- Monitor supplier performance and share relevant insights with Development teams to support the validation of current suppliers and the identification of new sourcing opportunities;
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and present KPI analyses to both suppliers and internal stakeholders;
- Challenge suppliers on lead times and delivery performance, ensuring alignment with business needs;
- Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations to support decision-making with clear data, insights, and recommendations;
- Conduct budget and forecast analyses in support of the Controlling Department;
- Collaborate with the Sustainability Department on LVMH analyses;
- Participate in LVMH coordination meetings.
Profile
- Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field;
- Solid experience inpurchasing and/or planning, preferablywithin the luxury fashion or textile industry;
- Good understanding ofraw materials for RTW, including fabrics, yarns, leathers, and accessories;
- Familiarity withMRP, stock management, supplier performance analysis, and forecasting;
- Knowledge of PowerBI, and presentation and data analysis tools;
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations, creating professional reports and presentations;
- Fluency in English.
Additional information
For new joiners in this role in Italy, the initial annual gross salary is EUR 36.000.
This salary has been determined on the basis of objective and gender-neutral criteria and corresponds to the compensation normally granted for this position at the time of publication of this job posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as your unique combination of experience and skills, seniority, and current organizational needs.
This role also provides for participation in a premio scheme, at Loro Piana’s discretion, based on factors such as individual and/or company performance.
In addition to the benefits provided by law, further benefits may be granted in accordance with current company policies.
The employment relationship will be governed by the provisions of the applicable national collective bargaining agreement (CCNL Tessile, Abbigliamento, Moda) and the supplementary company agreement, as applied by Loro Piana in Italy.
