About the Role
We are looking for a Junior / Early Mid Frontend Engineer to help build and maintain the user interface of our web application. You will work closely with experienced backend and cloud engineers and receive guidance on architecture, best practices, and delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who has professional frontend experience and wants to grow their skills in building production web applications.
Responsibilities
Frontend Development
· Implement user-facing features using modern web technologies
· Translate designs and requirements into working UI components
· Integrate frontend features with backend APIs (REST or GraphQL)
· Ensure responsive behavior and cross-browser compatibility
· Fix bugs and improve existing frontend functionality
Code Quality & Learning
· Write clear, maintainable frontend code with guidance from senior engineers
· Participate in code reviews and apply feedback
· Learn and follow established frontend patterns and conventions
Collaboration
· Work with backend engineers to understand API contracts
· Collaborate with designers or product stakeholders as needed
· Communicate progress, blockers, and questions clearly
· Participate in team planning and retrospectives
Testing & Delivery
· Write basic unit tests for frontend components
· Help maintain existing end-to-end tests
· Assist with releases and post-release fixes
· Learn how to debug issues in staging and production environments
Required Qualifications
· 1–3 years of professional frontend development experience
· Basic proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
· Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (Angular, React, Vue, or similar)
· Understanding of:
· HTML and CSS
· Responsive layouts
· Browser fundamentals
· Familiarity with Git and basic development workflows
Desirable (Not Required)
· Experience with Angular or interest in learning it
· Exposure to TypeScript in a production setting
· Basic understanding of frontend testing
· Familiarity with REST APIs
· Experience working from design mockups (e.g. Figma)
