Job Purpose The Senior Buyer leads the team that manages relationships with suppliers, follows the strategies of central purchasing and ensures production with procurement of parts. The role is responsible for the timely and efficient sourcing of hydraulic, pneumatic and steering systems for our leading agricultural company.
Key Responsibilities Sourcing Management Manage procurement of medium‐to‐high‐complexity components for European plants, covering hydraulic, pneumatic, and steering systems within the Mechanical commodity group.
Coordinate the external company in charge of purchase requisition and sourcing activity, monitoring KPIs such as ageing and purchase requisition backlog.
Lead tactical and strategic activities related to the purchase of critical production parts.
Support new product launch initiatives while developing and implementing cost‐reduction and sourcing strategies to improve quality, technology and delivery performance.
Forecast and report economic savings performance, negotiate price reductions and long‐term agreements,
conduct market tests, and award new business to maximize leverage.
Analyze various reports to capture opportunities and drive improvements.
Relationship
Management (Supply Base) Act as supply/base champion and resolve supply base issues.
Handle product cost disputes, invoicing issues, quality concerns and delivery delays.
Conduct contract negotiations, long‐term purchasing agreements, master supply agreements, and raw material indexation agreements.
Oversee warranty agreements, co‐development agreements, non‐disclosure agreements and compliance agreements.
Experience Required Short/Master's degree in Economics, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or Finance (preferred).
Fluent English.
Excellent knowledge of Excel and the Office package.
Relevant product/commodity knowledge and understanding of the local supplier market.
Minimum 3 years'
experience in a similar position.

Ability to independently make decisions that affect the team.
Good team work orientation and sense of initiative.
Pay Transparency The annual salary for this role is €46,800–€52,000 plus any applicable premio.
Salary ranges are based on skills, experience and qualifications.
