Experteer Overview In this role you support pre-award activities and contract management for European and international research funding. You work across fundraising, legal, and project management to ensure compliant proposal development and robust consortium agreements. You shape governance, negotiate IPR and other terms, and facilitate a smooth post-award handoff. • Contract Advisory to draft NDAs, MOUs, and other pre-contract instruments Shape consortium governance and anticipate negotiation issues with the FR team Define non-negotiables on IPR, liability, confidentiality, and governance in collaboration with Legal Lead preparation and negotiation of Consortium Agreements for Horizon Europe, using DESCA and standard clauses Manage negotiation on IPR (background/foreground, exploitation rights, access rights) and coordinate with partners Coordinate with partners and internal units to finalise consortium agreements and obtain signatures Perform legal due diligence,



identify legal risks, and communicate clearly to stakeholders Maintain repository of signed CAs and negotiation templates Provide training on contractual and procedural matters to FR team Master Degree in Law, European Studies, International Relations or related field Minimum 3 years of grant and contract management experience in a research setting Proven Horizon Europe (or FP7/H2020) experience and familiarity with DESCA and MGA Excellent English skills
