In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a premio and a stock award program, as applicable. /p h3General Requirements /h3 pThe EHS Safety Engineer will support the Applied Materials teams based in Italy and will manage the Health Safety Protection Service primarily for the Agrate manufacturing site, but also for Catania, while participating in international projects within the global team. /p pThe role will ensure the development and implementation of HSE programs aimed at assessing and minimizing risks for Applied Materials' employees, the environment, and the community. /p h3Key EHS Programs /h3 ul liRespiratory Protection Program /li liLockout/Tagout (LOTO) /li liChemical Authorization Program /li liManagement of Change (MoC)



/li liFall Protection /li liHazardous Materials Management Program /li liJob Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment /li liProject Work Plans / Pre‑Task Plans /li /ul h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure compliance with required HSE codes, standards, and regulations, as well as governmental health and safety regulations. Act as a liaison with local, regional, or national regulatory authorities. /li liEnsure proper investigation of environmental and safety incidents and lead corrective actions to closure. Experience with root cause analysis methods is preferred. /li liServe as a professional advisor to Country Management regarding existing or potential safety issues. /li liDevelop Prevention and Protection strategies and guide team members in preparing action plans to continuously improve performance and customer satisfaction. /li liReview and report progress and safety performance for the assigned site/function according to EHS metrics established by Management. /li liEnsure that assigned projects are completed as planned in order to meet EHS objectives. Provide Management with updates and escalation on projects/programs while maintaining communication with site functions. /li liMonitor evolving EHS legislation and take appropriate actions to ensure compliance.
