As a Buyer, you are the person who makes that happen - turning needs into the right suppliers, the right terms, and the right outcomes. It is a role where sharp commercial judgement, strong relationships, and a structured way of working translate directly into value for the business.

The role
As a Buyer at Yokogawa Italia, you own the full purchasing cycle for goods and services - from identifying the need and selecting the supplier through to payment and record-keeping - always within established procedures. You manage contracts, scout and onboard new suppliers, and support the sales team with cost-aware sourcing decisions grounded in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles.
You work closely with internal stakeholders and international suppliers, and you bring a sustainability mindset to procurement - integrating environmental,



social and economic considerations into long-term, value-driven supply chain decisions. This is a role for someone early in their procurement career who wants to build real depth in a global, multicultural industrial company.

What you’ll do
Buying & contract management
- Perform buying tasks for goods and services - from need identification and supplier selection through to delivery and record-keeping - ensuring compliance with established procedures
- Manage contracts end to end, ensuring all contract conditions are met by the supplier

Sourcing & supplier onboarding
- Scout potential new suppliers and take part in the onboarding process and supplier audits
- Build and maintain supplier relationships and quality standards in line with agreed expectations

Budgeting & cost optimization
- Support sales in aligning quotations and selecting suitable suppliers according to Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principle
