We are committed to advancing innovation and leveraging our deep expertise to provide better health and a better quality of life for patients and consumers worldwide and expand our reach across diverse markets. /p h3Scope /h3pbScope of the role /b /ppAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Medical Director to join Alfasigma for the UK Ireland affiliate. This role will report to the Country Head, UKIE and is a key member of the Leadership Team. /ppThe Country Medical Director, UK Ireland will develop, lead and manage the Medical Affairs team in the UK Ireland, driving medical strategy and disease awareness. The Country Medical Director works to execute the global medical operational plans locally working in partnership with the local cross functional and UKIE Leadership Team. They will also play a key role within the Global Medical Affairs Team (GMAT).



/p h3Your role /h3ulliLead and develop the UK Ireland Medical Affairs function as final medical signatory, ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-centred medical strategy and operations while maintaining robust medical governance and compliance standards. /liliPartner with Heads of Therapeutic Areas, Legal, Compliance, and Quality to align Global resources with regional strategies and ensure ethical engagement between regional medical personnel and external stakeholders. /liliAct as a senior company representative internally and externally, contributing as an active member of the Global Medical Leadership Team and serving as primary contact for international KOLs. /liliCo-lead Brand team strategy with Commercial Marketing, embedding customer insight into Brand plans and driving reimbursement strategy for new products and indications with Market Access and Country Head. /liliOversee PV, Regulatory, and promotional activities, ensuring full compliance with company SOPs, policies, and local laws and regulations. /liliOwn the local medical budget and performance metrics, ensuring effective resource allocation and accountable execution of all UK Ireland Medical strategic and operational plans — including Evidence Generation, Publications and Scientific Exchange. /li /ulh3Who are you /h3ulliA medical or advanced scientific degree (MBBS/ Pharmacists preferred),



with experience in biopharmaceutical medicine and medical affairs with certification as a final medical signatory. /liliDemonstrated clinical and/or scientific expertise in immunology/inflammation and hepatology is preferred. /liliProven leadership of multidisciplinary teams at country and/or brand level, with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity within senior leadership environments. /liliStrong people leadership skills — coaching, performance management, and setting priorities — combined with an agile, growth-oriented mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo. /liliStrong business acumen combined with medical expertise, with a proven ability to influence, negotiate and collaborate across internal and external stakeholders at local and global level. /li /ulh3Why Join Alfasigma /h3pbAt Alfasigma, we foster a culture where the courage to innovate is key to our success. /b We think big but act small.
