**Make your mark for patients** To strengthen our **RDO Department** we are looking for a talented person to fill the position of**:RDO Ecosystem Lead - Italy.** **About the role** The RDO ESL Italy leads the Regional Rare Disease Leads team with the aim to achieve strategic objectives including: - Establishing long-term partnership with various ecosystem stakeholders of the relevant health ecosystem
- Driving the creation of the patient value brand plan (PVBP) for the RDO portfolio within an Area and all the relevant marketing tactics
- Driving in-field execution excellence with their teams in line with the local PVBP (Plans and strategies)
- Securing and maintaining optimal access to UCB products portfolio
- Achieving sales target and establishing leading market position in the relevant patient population/segments
- Promoting growth, sustainability, and profitability of the products portfolio (franchise) **What you will do**
- Lead, coach, train and develop the team of Regional Rare Disease Leads, ensuring that individual competencies are at the required level
- Achieve revenue and sales targets, growth of the product portfolio, establishing and expanding the leading market position in defined patient segments
- Contribute to successfully launching new products
- Co-create the national strategic and tactics Patient-Value Brand Plan (PVBP) and supports the team in the gap analysis and development of key cross-functional account plans. Ensure the plans are aligned with the PVBP and implemented on time and successfully
- Utilize external partners (HCP, regulatory and access bodies) to build and develop comprehensive understanding of market insights to drive an optimal launch environment
- Be an active member of the local & EU and Global Assets network to proactively share launch learnings,



country insights to help shape and refine Global and EU and local strategies/projects
- Support the European Assets & Brands Strategy Team with broader commercial initiatives including brand forecasting, market share, ATU market planning and OPEX management
- Engage and manage external agencies/vendors to successfully implement initiatives within budget and agreed timelines to support launch
- Actively collaborate with local Safety staff to ensure a pharmacovigilance compliance for those activities that require involvement, guidance and support from LSO and Deputy
- Actively collaborate with Local E&C;, Marketing and Medical Team (possiamo prendere spunto da altri annunci che riportano un tema simile) Key Deliverables: - Maintain external focus and create value for the company, the patient, the healthcare professional, balancing short-term and long-term goal
- Pro-actively contribute to the cross-functional collaboration of the team
- Be responsible for the annual field operations budget
- Monitor competitors’ activities and maintain competitive intelligence overview
- Develop team motivation by sharing and analyzing of collective and individual results Key Stakeholders: - External: Health professionals and pharmacists involved in the management of the rare diseases in scope. As applicable: payers and policy makers
- Internal: Rare Disease Organization Leadership Team, Medical strategy, Marketing, MSLs,



Project coordinators and all transversal core functions including but not limited to Market Access, Patient Engagement, Ethics & Compliance, Finance, Supply Chain, Patient Experience, Talent Acquisition, Patient Experience 4 Pillars in Rare: - Demonstrate great commitment to the Rare Disease patient community and understand the national and regional patient journey, the barriers they face in care, diagnosis and treatment, and co-creates with the community to help them overcome those barriers
- Utilize innovative (incl. digital) methods to identify patients and enable access to high-efficacy and safe treatments earlier
- Maintain a cross-functionally aligned, execution excellence approach to patient access based on continuous account analysis
- Have an in-depth understanding of disease and all relevant clinical data of UCB & competitors and translation into single-patient focus for dedicated referral and targeted treatments **Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills**
- Fluency in English
- University degree in business administration, pharmacy or natural sciences
- At least 5 years of experience in management a sales team and direct experience in sales. Further roles or experiences in access or marketing would be of advantage
- Recent experience of launching products in rare diseases
- Management experience
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
