This role is crucial for driving our product development to new heights and ensuring that our engineering efforts align closely with the overall business goals. **Your role in BizAway**
- Lead and structure a department organized in 4-6 teams through management and mentorship.
- Develop strategic plans for the company’s technology presence.
- Oversee all technical aspects and technological resources (including security and the cloud
infrastructure) of the company for the purpose of organizational growth.
- Establish a technological vision for an organization and lead the company's technological
development.
- Work closely with Product,



Business Development and Operations to define and deliver new
solutions and enhancements.
- Ensure that technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and review the work plan for technical staff; assign work activities, projects, and programs; review and evaluate work products, methods, and procedures; meet with staff to identify and resolve problems.
- Develop and control the annual operating and capital expenditure budget for engineering to
ensure it is consistent with overall strategic objectives **Your basic qualifications**
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an engineering leadership role within a similar environment.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate high-performing teams.
- Deep understanding of the technology landscape including current and future trends.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering results.
