The Opportunity: Due to an increase in power generation projects globally, we are now recruiting for an experienced Plant Technician for an immediate start in Italy. Working with an experienced team, the Technician will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance and operations of a CHP which includes a gas turbine, steam turbine and all the relevant supporting systems, on a rotating shift pattern. Key Responsibilities: Perform day‐to‐day operations of the plant with a focus on basic mechanical maintenance and basic electrical testing and isolation tasks. Conduct regular inspections, plant walkdowns, and condition monitoring of turbines and supporting systems.
Maintain accurate logs and records of all operations and maintenance activities which includes incidents and equipment performance in accordance with OEM standards. Provide input into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring maintenance records are kept up to date. Report deviations or potential issues and assist in troubleshooting. Ensure all activities comply with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and procedures. Conduct and participate in general safety meetings and toolbox safety briefings. Support the plant's continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing operational efficiencies. Role Requirements: Previous experience operating and/or maintaining a CHP or working in a similar plant environment. Relevant industry qualifications (desirable but not essential).
