**POLO D’INNOVAZIONE DI GENOMICA, GENETICA E BIOLOGIA** **About us** Founded in 2011, Polo d’Innovazione di Genomica, Genetica e Biologia (Polo GGB) is a highly specialized company working in the Life Sciences field to develop and promote genomics, genetics, and bioinformatics services to the academic and public/private sector. The headquarters and the Genomics & Bioinformatics laboratory are in Siena, while Terni hosts the Immunoassay Laboratory and the Ecology and Genetic Research Centre of Polo GGB. Polo GGB Diagnostics laboratories of Siena carry out numerous diagnostic tests in medical genetics, microbiology, virology, immunology, and clinical biochemistry. Polo GGB collaborates with hospitals, national health centres and academic research groups for the validation of new diagnostic assays, which Polo GGB designs and implements in house to constantly update and enrich its diagnostic offer. Moreover, Polo GGB is equipped with various state-of-art sequencing instruments that are currently applied not only to medical genetics but also to research activities within international consortia and projects. **Position Summary** Polo GGB is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join the Genomics & Bioinformatics Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Rosa Giglio (Senior NGS Researcher) and Dr. Chiara Leo (Senior Bioinformatician)




- Preparation of detailed technical notes and presentations to report experimental results. The position is available immediately. **Requirements**: - Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or a closely related field.
- Proven expertise in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, nucleic acid extraction, cloning, CRISPR-Cas systems, NGS library preparation, and sequencing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and manuscript preparation, evidenced by first-author publications in quality journals. **Personal Skills**

- Ability to independently plan, conduct, and analyze experiments.
