In this role, you will report directly to the **Chief Scientific Officer (CSO)** and play a key part in the development of new products across both skincare and dietary supplements. You will collaborate closely with the **science/product development team** and engage with external experts and our scientific advisory board when needed. Your main mission during the first months with us, will be to support the** launch of our first skincare** product to the market. **Ingredient & Formulation Research**
- Conduct scientific research on functional skincare ingredients and their potential synergies with dietary supplements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest innovations and trends in skincare, longevity, and wellness to inform product development.
- Evaluate ingredient efficacy, compatibility, and regulatory compliance for both skincare and supplement formulations.
- Collaborate with the science/product development team to create evidence-based formulations that align with brand goals and market demand.
- Propose innovative formulation ideas and provide scientific backing to key stakeholders.
- Analyze ingredient combinations to optimize product effectiveness and consumer appeal.




- Work closely with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with industry standards and market regulations.
- Conduct customer surveys to gather insights and analyze feedback, helping to refine product concepts and guide ingredient selection. **Product Development Support**
- Support the **CSO and operations team** throughout the product development process.
- Assist in coordinating with **contract manufacturers**, ensuring smooth communication and project follow-ups.
- Help with various operational tasks related to product testing, production timelines, and final product launch.
- Manage small projects within the science team and ensure tasks are delivered on time and aligned with company objectives. **Marketing & Content Support**
- Support the marketing team with scientific content for ads, social media, and contribute to blog articles, newsletters, and content initiatives. **Team Learning & Education**
- Contribute to **monthly longevity breakfast sessions**, educating the AVEA team on health, longevity topics, new products, and key ingredients.
- Present scientific topics clearly to cross-functional teams and support internal training to align the team on product science and innovation. **What We're Looking For**:
**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Dermatology, Food Science, or a relevant scientific field.
- **1-3 years of experience** in skincare formulation or product development,



with exposure to or direct involvement in a product launch being a strong plus
- **Fluent English is a must**; additional languages such as French, German, Spanish, or Italian are a plus.
- Experience in dietary supplements is a strong plus. **Hard Skills**
- **Strong knowledge of skin biology** and the mechanisms of skin aging.
- Understanding of **aging pathways** and cellular mechanisms relevant to longevity and skincare.
- Familiarity with cellular signaling pathways involved in skin health, such as oxidative stress, inflammation, collagen synthesis, and DNA repair.
- Ability to propose formulations and explain ingredient synergies scientifically.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to organize tasks and timelines effectively. **Soft Skills & Attributes**
