Italdesign is looking for a dynamic person who would be responsible for the concept development of new series vehicles or concept vehicles.
Responsibilities
Steering the Human factor activities: attending meetings with Customer and other functions, collecting input and tasks, reporting outputs;
Benchmarking analysis of competitor solutions and dimensions;
Creation and updating of 3D target surfaces collectors:
Vehicle Occupant Package or Package plan
Ergonomics plan
Homologation plan
Tracking and solving issues/target deviations through various phases and traveling to customer sites to meet project content.
Requirements
Key requirements
At least 8 years of experience in concept at OEM;
Experience on concept phase process and milestone;
Knowledge of design convergence process;
Knowledge of ergonomics and vehicle occupant package process: target definition, target validation;
Knowledge about vehicle occupant package (SAE measurements, GCIE measurements) and homologation requirement (ECE, NAR and China);
Good knowledge of CATIA V5;
Sense of responsibility and integrity;
Problem solving and decision making.
Preferential requirements
Knowledge of system engineering tools:
Codebeamer/Polarion (requirements management software)
Cameo/PreeVision (functional architecture software)
Experience in managing a high level of inter‐functional development and reporting to senior management;
Attitude to work with OEM PLM;
Ability to work in a team and public speaking;
Technical presentation and goal‐oriented;
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and EN 9100;
Knowledge of Pack Office.
Other Information
Education: Master's degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent studies.
Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required. Knowledge of German would be appreciated.
Workplace: Moncalieri (TO) and availability for international travel, including long‐term assignments.
