Experteer Overview As a Project Manager with SMS group S.p.A., you oversee complex projects in the steel and non-ferrous sectors, acting as the main liaison with customers and contract partners. You ensure schedules, budget, and quality targets are met while leading the project team and coordinating resources. You drive governance through steering boards and reporting, shaping stakeholder relations and lessons learned. Own and update the overall project schedule and ensure on-time delivery
Lead the project team and coordinate resources across line departments
Monitor cost, schedule, and performance targets and report deviations to avoid escalation
Prepare cost planning and risk assessments with the Contract Manager




Coordinate stakeholder communications, progress reports, and customer relations
Prepare for Steering Board meetings and ensure alignment with Project Governance
Implement project management standards and continuous improvement (e.g., Quality Gates, PM-MS)
Capture and transfer Lessons Learned to the Project Owner
Responsabilità Degree in mechanical or industrial engineering and/or completed apprenticeship
Several years of professional experience in project management
Good written and spoken English
Willingness to travel worldwide
Confident handling of MS Office and Project or similar tool
