Position: Programme Management & Reporting Manager, GCAP Headquarters (Reading, UK) – Leonardo
Overview
Leonardo, a global leader in Aerospace, Defense and Security, requires a Programme Management & Reporting Manager to oversee coordination, monitoring, and reporting of key security programs within the GCAP Joint Venture. The role reports to the Head of Strategy & Functional Development and works under the Deputy Chief Security Officer.
Responsibilities
Coordinate, plan, execute, and monitor cross‐functional security programs; maintain roadmaps, schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
Facilitate program meetings, steering committees, and working sessions; track progress against objectives, identify risks, issues, and blockers.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance summaries for leadership; consolidate data from multiple teams and provide a clear, accurate view of program status.
Analyze trends, variances, and performance indicators to support decision‐making; prepare executive‐level presentations and briefings.
Ensure compliance with governance frameworks,
processes, and quality standards; maintain documentation including charters, risk logs, action trackers, and change requests.
Support audit, compliance, and assurance activities related to program delivery.
Serve as central coordination point between project teams, leadership, and external partners; communicate updates clearly to both technical and non‐technical audiences.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve data accuracy; enhance program management tools, templates, and methodologies.
Promote best practices in planning, tracking, and reporting within the security function.
Qualifications
Diploma or degree relevant to program or project management.
Expert level with minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably within the security sector or multi‐project environment
