Job Description: Senior Consultant – Legal Research Process Transformation
Innodata is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant in the legal research domain to support the Italy L&R; Prime 2.0 rollout and vendor transition initiative.
The consultant will be responsible for conducting a thorough assessment of current legal research, amendment, enrichment, and editorial business processes, and translating those findings into a structured transition approach aligned with the new automated Prime 2.0 platform.
Role Overview
The Senior Consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, legal research teams, vendors, and implementation teams to understand existing workflows, identify process gaps, and define how current business operations should evolve within the context of Prime 2.0. This role requires deep expertise in legal research operations, process analysis, business transformation, and managed services transition.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a comprehensive assessment of current legal research, amendment, enrichment, and editorial workflows.
Document existing business processes, handoffs, inputs, outputs, exceptions, and dependencies.
Analyze current vendor processes and identify gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Map current-state processes to future-state Prime 2.0 workflows and automated system capabilities.
Support definition of future-state operating models, roles, responsibilities, and process ownership.
Partner with business, technology, and vendor teams to ensure legal research requirements are accurately understood and reflected in the Prime 2.0 implementation.
Develop a structured transition roadmap to support migration from existing vendor processes to the Prime 2.0 operating model.
Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process review sessions in both Italian and English.
Provide recommendations to improve turnaround time, quality, scalability, and operational efficiency.
