The Colonna Campus are currently seeking to appoint an experienced **SENCO who will also be the appointed DSL for school**. We are looking for somebody who will be able to adapt quickly to a new and exciting learning environment, with strong empathy skills who are willing to use relational strategies in a stimulating learning environment with students from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. A strong commitment to purposeful learning and teaching, collaborative planning and open communication is essential. Proven experience within an international, bilingual or multilingual context would also be useful.

- Inspire and implement a shared vision for inclusion and safeguarding across all phases.- **Safeguarding & Child Protection**
- Take lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection, including online safety and the wider safeguarding agenda.- **Inclusive Learning & Support**
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of learning support across the school, including SEN, EAL and more able students.- **Policy & Compliance**
- Develop, review and ensure the implementation of policies related to: Child Protection and Safeguarding (DSL) and SEN/Inclusion and Learning Support (SENCo)- **Partnership & Communication**
- Build positive, transparent relationships with families of students receiving SEN or safeguarding support.- **Professional Development & Culture**
- Drive capacity-building across the staff body in recognising and responding to SEN and safeguarding concerns.**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**: - Qualified teacher status with experience across multiple age ranges (2-14 years).
- Demonstrated expertise in SEN coordination across school sections (Early Years to Middle School) and safeguarding leadership.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding frameworks (e.g., Keeping Children Safe in Education).
- Experience with IEPs, ILPs, EAL, differentiation and support strategies for diverse learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Highly organised, honest, discreet and committed to confidentiality.
