Job Description
We are currently seeking a CITES & EXPORT CERTIFICATES TEAM Intern to support our CITES operations, who will report to the CITES Manager. CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) is the international agreement regulating the trade of protected species and related products. This is a 6-month internship position based in Trecate.
Your opportunity
You will have the opportunity to join the CITES Team within the Customs Team, which aims to ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements for the issuance of certificates and permits. Following the Group’s compliance agenda and targets, the role offers the opportunity to interact with all brands and teams across Kering. The team is continuously working on improving processes and flows, identifying innovative solutions to support daily operations and ensure full compliance with international regulations.
Moreover, this role will have a significant impact on developing your understanding of CITES matters and international trade regulations.
How you will contribute
- You will work collaboratively with team members, actively participate in discussions, decisions and project activities:
- CITES re-export issuance
- CITES import issuance
- Yellow velina CITES archiving
- Management of EU CITES-related activities
- Support with data capturing tools and reporting
- Participate in events and networking activities to stay up to date
- Get to know internally our operations and different flows to offer tailored support to our brands
Stay informed about latest legislations impacting our operating countries
- Who you are
- A graduate or soon to be graduate in Economics, Business Management, Engineering or related areas
- Studies and/or project work in Customs and Logistics
- Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Organized and detail focused individual
- Proactive, problem-solver, with analytical mindset
Teamwork oriented and able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
