Position
The intern will support the team in efficiently procuring new collections based on SKUs and store network, ensuring the strategy is implemented from showroom sales campaign through to the launch in stores. He/She will also assist in developing a phasing-out strategy for current collections. Beyond operational buying, the intern will be involved in a transformation project to structure how buying inputs are interpreted, standardized, and translated into actionable recommendations for HQ and regional teams.
This project aims to shift towards a more objective and comparable buying approach, applying common decision rules across product categories while considering market specificities and store potential. This will include contributing to the definition of the logic behind a tool for assortment analysis, depth recommendation, and buying need setup, ensuring clarity, scalability, and alignment with business priorities.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with the zones' teams to define and curate product "packages" that align with our brand's vision and market demands.
- Ensure the precise distribution of products across various store clusters, maintaining optimal stock levels and product availability, for both Seasonal and Timeless
- Regularly monitor and control TSL (Target Stock Level), depth and sell through to guarantee the right product mix and inventory levels in stores.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions on product assortment and allocation.
- Work closely with the Local Retail Merchandising Teams, Visual Merchandising, Collection Merchandising, Go To Market, Supply Chain.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Advanced use of Microsoft package (Excel, PowerPoint; etc.)
- Knowledge of retail merchandising key strategies and of the LG category in general
- Passion and good knowledge of the fashion and luxury industry
- Strong Analytics skills
- Positive and proactive attitude

For internship programs, the monthly reimbourse associated is EUR 800.
