Investment Manager, Italian Private Equity Fund About the Opportunity Our client is an established Italian Private Equity fund focused on lower mid-market investments across a broad range of sectors.
The firm has built a strong track record of partnering with entrepreneurial businesses to accelerate growth through operational value creation, strategic development and buy-and-build initiatives.
To support its continued investment activity, the fund is looking to appoint an Investment Manager to join its Milan-based investment team.
Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be actively involved throughout the entire investment lifecycle, including: ulli Origination and evaluation of new investment opportunities; /lili Financial analysis, valuation and LBO modelling; /lili Commercial, financial and legal due diligence coordination; /lili Preparation of Investment Committee materials; /lili Negotiation and execution of acquisitions alongside senior partners; /lili Active portfolio monitoring and value creation initiatives; /lili Board preparation and interaction with portfolio company management teams; /lili Exit planning and execution.
/li Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:



ulli Approximately 7–10 years of professional experience; /lili Previous direct investing experience within a Private Equity fund is mandatory; /lili Strong track record across the full investment cycle, from execution to portfolio management; /lili Excellent financial modelling and valuation capabilities; /lili Strong analytical skills combined with sound commercial judgement; /lili Ability to operate autonomously while working effectively within a lean investment team; /lili Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; /lili Fluency in both Italian and English.
/li /ul Mandatory Requirement Only candidates currently working, or having previously worked, in a Private Equity investment role will be considered.
